Furnishing Your Corner of the Dungeon -
A Guide to Your Author Page

Your Author Page is the first thing you will see upon registering and logging in. The following options will be available to you (click each of them to be taken to the respective section of the guide):

- View and edit your profile

- Submit a story

- Manage your stories

- Manage your reviews

- Manage your favourites

- View your shelf

Your Profile
The profile page allows you to see what your profile currently looks like, and edit any information in it, save for the penname. If you want to edit your penname, you should contact the Dungeon Keepers.

After you've entered all the information you wish to change, you have to enter your password in order to save the changes. If you chose to change your password, you need to enter the old one, as well as the new one, twice (in the New Password and Confirm Password fields).

You can cancel any changes you've made before saving by clicking the Discard Changes button.

Submitting a Story
This is described in more detail in the appropriate section.

Managing Stories
The story management page shows you all the stories you have submitted to the Dungeon Library, regardless of whether they have already been approved by a moderator or pending approval. Stories that have been rejected are deleted from the database, so they will not be listed here.

For each of the stories, you have the following options:
- Table of Contents – allows you to edit and delete chapters, as well as change the order of chapters in the story, if necessary;
- Add Chapter – adding a new chapter to the existing story;
- Edit Story – allows you to edit story attributes, such as title, summary, ships, tags, and other (see the story submission guide for explanation of story attributes). Note that editing a story that is pending approval will count as resubmitting it.
- Delete Story – deletes the story AND all chapters in it from our database. You will be asked for confirmation once. Once the story is deleted, you will have to get it validated again if you want it back. However, if you deleted the story by mistake or changed your mind about it, AND you have your original validation letter, you can submit the story to the queue again and contact the moderator about it, explaining the situation. This may help you get it back up more quickly.

Managing Reviews
This page indicates the amount of reviews each of your stories received, and how many of those you have not replied to. Replying to reviews is entirely optional. You can only reply to each review once.
If you find any review offensive and wish it removed, please contact a moderator about it, linking to the review you wish to report.

Managing Favourites
As you browse the shelves of our library, you will notice a little sign by each author's penname that says 'Add Author to Favourites' (it only appears when you're logged in, however). Similar signs will show up next to titles of stories. By clicking on it, you will add the respective author or story to your list of favourites, which is found on this very page. Here you will see the list of your favourite authors and fics, easily accessible with no need to search the whole dungeon for them again. Should you wish to remove anyone or anything from such lists, all you have to do is click the 'remove' button. Adding them back is just as easy as it was to add them the first time.
(Removing a story and/or author from your favourites will not result in any notification being said to such an author, so you can manage your favourites without fear of retribution.)

Your Shelf
Your shelf is what your page looks like to anyone who chooses to view it. You will see a short summary of your activities in the library at the top, and a list of stories underneath. If you want to get an overview of your career as a fanfiction author in our library, or check how your bio looks, this is the right page for that. This is also the right page to link people to, should you wish to point them to your corner in our library. The link to your shelf is located on your Author Page for your convenience. You can also get here the long way – by looking yourself up in the list of authors and clicking on your penname.
