says:
Little is known about the Bringer of the Light, except that he or she was the first one to discover the dungeon, descend down the steps and open the door, behind which the Dungeon Light was glowing.

The story goes that the Bringer of the Light ventured past the door and further into the dark, but the green light has been illuminating the place ever since.

Usually found somewhere either at college or writing, although if these places fail you could try chatting, fan-girling or possibly dragon hunting, MissyQuill/Sammy is co-head of the Coffee Cauldron in the dungeons, where stories too small for our archives are carefully tended and encouraged. She also looks after our poetry and artwork, not to mention doing countless little jobs all over the dungeon and the library, from writing rules to answering PMs about anything and everything.
If you’re new and lost, you’ll always find her at hand to show you around, and she might even help out if you’ve been here ages... and yet still lost.

Emma sometimes morphs into Emmeline, and if you have had the misfortune to meet her, then Merlin help you. But Emma is the exact opposite of Emmeline. She’s kind, helpful, and always ready to listen. Not to mention an awesome beta who spins gold from straw very much like they do in fairy tales.

Our resident Bella/Voldy fan, Emmeline Riddle/Emma is always on hand to answer questions from her spot behind the Potions Master’s Desk (temporarily borrowed from the Potions Master), beta your writing no matter how little faith you have in it (she takes my first drafts from me and makes them actually make sense... I’ve never known how), total up your points or just serve you a dose of freshly warmed insanity. She is also convenient if in a tricky situation you want to know what Bella would do. Not that I recommend following such advice... Often...

...our little Meda, though don’t let her hear you saying that. She may be younger, but she’s as good as they come - better, in fact. She’s the in-house banana and does wonders in Arithmancy. In addition to coming up with creative challenges and writing beautiful poetry, she makes gorgeous pieces of art on GIMP and never ever gives up no mater how challenging a task.

The genius behind all the technical work on DL, Elmindreda/El somehow finds the time to keep everything running smoothly in the tapestry and the Potions Master’s Desk, as well as keeping track of some rather outrageous dares in Occlumency Lessons. If this site is behaving oddly, she’s the one to turn to, but I think I can safely say it’s highly unlikely that you’ll need to. She can always be found at the other end of an email or PM, and will sort out any question you may have, whether they’re technical or more related to the finer details of a character’s life (particularly if said character happens to be Severus Snape.)
says:
El, the technical guru of the site. She’s the one who takes care of all the bugs and glitches on the site and the reason you see the brand and shiny new buttons, functions and images everywhere. She’s literally the webmaster of the place and nothing gets past her sharp eyes - except a certain Potions Master.
